Fall is upon us, it’s time for the weather to cool down and give us a nice breeze while we relax outside the RV. The staff at Mountain Lakes have been preparing wholeheartedly for the members to enjoy the next few months and we absolutely can’t wait to share it with everybody.
Summer was an absolute blast at the resort. We had so much fun planned for our members, including our Father’s Day celebration in June where we hosted an exciting fishing tournament along with dad’s choice of yard games. We also had our “4th of July Celebration” where everyone got together for a block party with a golf cart parade and amazing live music. We also got a little competitive this summer during the “Corn Hole Tournament” and our “Treasure Hunt Weekend” where our members enjoyed a good time playing kickball and singing karaoke. And, with fall almost upon us, we gave the kids a weekend to remember with our “Return to School Pool Party” which was also the perfect way to beat that heavy summer heat.
We will be starting off our Fall camping season with a commemoration to those who gave their lives, as well as those who lost theirs, and the brave heroes during the tragic time of September 11th, 2001 with our “Remembering 9/11” event. Afterwards, we get back into the more light-hearted activities, like our “Western Weekend,” our “Flannel Weekend,” and our “10th Annual Fall Festival and Car Show.” Afterwards, the resort is hosting our “Halloween Weekends,” a three week-long event featuring something new every weekend, including a Fear Factor event, fun music, and even a costume contest!
We’re so excited to show you what Mountain Lakes has to offer for the fall season. We’re so grateful that we can help friends become families and make wonderful memories.
